“I created my own path and walk it with joy.”
What is something about you that would surprise most people?
Some people find it surprising that I like opera.
What is one thing you can’t live without?
I couldn’t live without music.
Where is your hometown?
I was born and raised in Las Vegas.
Where is your favorite place you’ve ever visited?
I visited many places when my daughter did competitive cheer. My favorite place was Pier 39 in San Francisco.
If you could spend a day with any person, living or deceased, who would it be?
If I could spend a day with anyone, it would be my mom, who I lost in 2003 at the age of 48.
Tell us about your family, friends, pets, hobbies, and passion projects:
I am a proud mother of two kids: a handsome son, Heabu-Sheabeon McKinney, 22; and a beautiful daughter, DeRajanique-TyJana McKinney, 20.
I love animals. I have six fur babies of my own––five dogs named Lola, Lacey, Lucky, Leo, and Minnie, and one cat named Alley. I also volunteer at A Home 4 Spot and am a foster mom to many cats and dogs in need of a home. I mostly work with the hard-to-adopt dogs, which I like to call my “sour patches.” I have fostered and found homes for more than 50 dogs!
In my free time, I like to skate, bike ride, do yoga, and draw.
“Tanenichian is a true glow-getter! She is so thoughtful and compassionate. We have gotten multiple word-of-mouth referrals based on Tanenichian’s amazing care. She is so attentive to detail, and takes her time to make sure each of her patients look and feel their best! Families request her by name! She remembers and spotlights her patients on their birthdays, and she makes all of her patients a valentine every year. Tanenichian is one of a kind and we are so lucky to have her on our Brighton team!
