Why I’m in hospice
I hadn’t begun my career in hospice, but it was always at the back of my mind. Once I started, I knew without a doubt that this is “what I was made to do”. It is one of the honors of my life to be present emotionally, spiritually and physically as people enter the sunset of their lives here on Earth. It is a sacred time that requires support not only for the patient, but the family as well.

Where I grew up
I was born here in Minnesota, but had the benefit of growing up in several different states. I finally made my way back to Minnesota to stay when I was in 5th grade.

Where I Live Now
Cannon Falls has been my home for the last 23 years. I am so proud to be a part of this town and the surrounding communities.

When not at Brighton
I am spending time with my family. I am the only female in my household which includes my husband, three sons, a dog and a cat.

Fun fact about me
One of my passions is traveling. I love going somewhere I have never been and delving into the culture.
