“I wanted to reach out to you today with sincerest appreciation for the wonderful care my father-in-law received from Brighton Home Health. In particular, I found his nurse Dee to be outstanding.  It is no small thing when I tell you that because of Dee we were able to accomplish more in the few weeks we had him home and on Brighton Home Health services that in the months he was in the care center.  Dad, now 90 years old, enjoys a greater sense of independence and wellbeing than he has in many, many months thanks to Dee.  Specifically, Dee was invaluable to us in getting us set up with the wound clinic and podiatrist.  She was wonderful in communicating his needs to the aides and her care and commitment to Dad was unsurpassed with every visit.  I also was truly appreciative of the personal support Dee and the Brighton team offered to me as a family member placed in a care giving situation.  Certainly as the future unfolds, if we need Home Health or Hospice care, we know where to come first.  Dee made all the difference in our lives, so I thank Brighton and my family thanks Brighton for setting the standard of care high enough to send us such an amazing nurse.”

“Thank you so much for the excellent care you gave my Mom. From Josie, her first nurse in Home Health care, her aide Whitney, to the team that took over when Mom moved on to Hospice. She loved her visits from Whitney. To Emily, to Jessica, to Alisa, she loved you all! The care and compassion my Mom had was outstanding. You all made a difficult time a lot easier for us. My Mom believes in angels. You are all angels on earth. Bless you all, thank you from the bottom of my heart.”

“I wish to thank each and every member of your staff who cared for and assisted my Dad in the last few months of his life. All of you were so kind and caring.”

“I want to express my sincere gratitude to all of you for the care and help you provided for my Mom. I probably shouldn’t mention names (but I am going to) because there were many of you that helped. It was very obvious that this isn’t just a profession for you guys… You really care! Your nurse Lori was there at a time when Mom was in the most pain. I’m just not the type of person that is good at comforting and consoling. Lori knelt down at Mom’s feet, held her hand, coached her and comforted her. I don’t think she will ever know how helpful that was to me, and I’m sure it was helping Mom too. I just didn’t know what to do and I was glad that Lori was there. I know many others were involved and I thank ALL of you! The explanation of things to anticipate and what to prepare for helped my family a lot during this difficult time. We are very glad that we went the direction we did. Many family and friends were allowed to spend some special time with Mom while she was still talkative. We appreciate the respectful way she was able to pass with loved ones at her side. I will call on your services again and will certainly recommend Brighton to any others that may be found in this situation. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!!!”

“Dear Friends, we wanted to thank you for your wonderful care of our father who passed away on Monday morning. We appreciate so much your gracious and loving care which you gave to him and the expressions of service and care for our family. We are especially thankful for people such as you who perform the service which you do for those with these special needs at a difficult time of their lives. We were very impresses with the way you handled your duties, gently and lovingly as you looked out for Dad. Though your services were only needed for a very short time, they were most welcome and appreciated. We are also grateful for the way in which you informed us of the things that were going on with Dad as he declined. It certainly helped us understand the process through which he was going. Please extend our thanks and appreciation to the nurses, aides and other staff who directly, or indirectly, helped Dad through his last days. We are so thankful for your care and support helping him to be comfortable so he could peacefully slip away. May God bless each of you as you continue in this wonderful work of caring for those with critical needs. Your service is so much loved and appreciated.”

“My Mom fell in love with her aide Janet the minute she walked in the door. She took great care of Mom! She made sure she was bathed every day. Janet was only here for a short time but Mom fell in love with her quickly. The last day that Janet came, she reassured me that Mom was in no pain. Janet actually cried before she left, knowing that was the last time she was going to see my mom. Mom’s nurse Lori was amazing. She is awesome with families. She has such an amazing personality. My Mom fell instantly in love with her as well. When Mom passed away, Lori came right over and stayed until the funeral home came to pick my Mom up. We just want to say thank you for helping us through a very difficult time. Thank you Brighton Hospice for having such caring individuals working for you!”

“I would like to give a special thanks to all of you who took care of my Mother. She loved each of you so much, especially her Aide. Mom may have been blind and deaf but she knew how much your staff loved and cared for her. If anyone asks for a referral, Brighton Hospice will be my recommendation. My daughter has worked with several hospices when she worked as a CNA and she says you’re the most caring, and on top of everything she’s seen.” Thank You!”

“I wish to thank each and every member of your staff who cared for and assisted my Dad in the last few months of his life. All of you were so kind and caring. I only spoke directly to a few of you and want to thank you for your kindness and professionalism. Yours is truly a profession of love and compassion. Your nurse answered all of my concerns and questions and for that I am grateful. Dad was a big part of our family and we can’t thank your staff enough for helping him these last few months. May the Lord bless each of you for your kindness, dedication, compassion and service. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.”

“Our family would like to thank Mom’s nurse Diane and all the folks at Brighton who took such great hospice care of our Mom while she was at her assisted living facility. We could tell by reading the daily journal that all of you took a great deal of effort to make sure she was comfortable and well taken care of. We know that she did not leave her apartment very much during the last few weeks before her passing and your contact was some of the only social interaction other than that with family. That meant a lot to her and to us. Again, thanks so much for your care and compassion.”

“The help our family received during this time was especially helpful. I had full confidence in their decisions. I was able to talk to the nurses and helpers whenever I felt I had concerns or questions. I have no complaints about any of my interactions with anyone. I feel that my Mother felt the same way. We as a family felt so supported by everyone involved. Thank you.”

“The Brighton team was such a support to all of us. When Brighton took over Dad’s care, we knew he would be well cared for. The nurses and aides were wonderful, respectful, and caring. It was also wonderful that Brighton was able to fulfill our request to have male caregivers for Dad. Thank you.”

“Everyone at Brighton was awesome. We had started care with a different hospice company and were very unhappy. The change to Brighton was positive and quick. I couldn’t have been happier with anything. It was a wonderful experience and we want to thank all of your staff.”

“The Brighton harpist that was brought in was such an event that family members congregated in our Mother’s room instead of staying away. I believe also, that wherever our mother was (being incoherent at the time) that she enjoyed not only the harpist’s music, but also the massage, aroma therapy, and other attentions that were lavished on her. THANK YOU BRIGHTON HOSPICE CARE!”

“Thank you so much for the opportunity to meet such a great group of caring individuals. Our Father’s final months and really the last 10 years have not been easy for him. Thank you for allowing him the love and dignity to die knowing he was surrounded by people who would allow him some patience about what must be the ultimate puzzling transition in life. Above all, my Father had a great sense of humor, something I now value most about him. I inherited that from him and I’m so proud of him. Thank you from all of our family.”
